Meet:

What is the reason you decided to work for MWP?
In my previous position with Google, I was increasingly faced with situations needing coaching and training. In addition to the energy that I got from it, I also received very positive feedback from colleagues about my role as a trainer. Perhaps the most important factor is the seed that Johan has planted with me, 8 years ago, and the good click I felt with MWP back then.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Smoking when drinking

Did you know that I …?
In the mountains, during a week of cross-country skiing, I became more self-aware?

If you’re having a bad day; what do you do to make yourself feel better?
Cross-country skiing? If possible, but normally swim, run or cycle. Recently, I became a triathlete so, I can indulge myself in all three sports. Or a good conversation with my wife or my best friend …

What is the best advice you have ever received?
Change it, Love it or Leave it

What is your proudest achievement?
My life so far, the personal growth that I have been able to go through. My working life, inclusive. Role in the Google and steps toward becoming a trainer. The house that we have built, and our beautiful son (he mainly does things by himself, but that’s what makes me a proud father).

What has had an impact on you or has changed you?
One of my first friends (16 years old) gave me the book “This is how you become a B.A.P (Particularly Nice Person)”, because I turned out to be quite a pusher-over that others can use to make themselves feel better. Partly because of this book I am very aware of the damage we can cause one another.

Which quote is meaningful for you?

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn" Benjamin Franklin
